d.i.y. mask part: 3

Welcome back for the last part of the d.i.y mask.

Today I am going to show you how to do a foot mask. Today's main ingredient is avocados which contain lots of nutrients that are good for you skin. This is a great way to absorb some of those nutrients if you don't like to eat them.

Avocado Foot Mask

   1 ripe avocado
   2 T honey
   1 T olive oil
   2 T plain yogurt

2 Hot towels (wet towels heated in the microwave works well or run them under hot water and wring out                             excess moisture)
3   Dry towels
              or newspaper and plastic bags

Mix the ingredients together with a blender or hand mixer. After laying down a towel or newsprint, apply mixture to the feet and wrap each foot with a hot towel. Follow the hot towel with a dry towel or plastic bags to hold in moisture and heat. Keep on for 10-15 mins. Gently wipe off mask with towel and rinse with warm water. Enjoy your soft feet. I would love to hear about how this worked for you. Let me know in the comments below or connect with me on Facebook.

Inspiration Monday

Inspired by SouleMama  A Monday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special,  extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor, and remember.

If you are inspired to do the same leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to see and find.

d.i.y. mask part: 2

Welcome back for part two of the do-it-yourself masks.

This week I will show you how to do a moisturizing protein hair mask.

You will need: 2 eggs
                      4 T olive oil
                      shower cap

Mix well in a bowl or cup. Apply thoroughly to hair and cover with shower cap. Let sit for 15-30 min. It is very important to keep your hair from drying out during this process. Shampoo twice. Condition as usual. Enjoy your super soft hair. I would love to hear how this worked for you. Let me know in the comments below or connect with me on Facebook.
